Luca Miggiano

Oxfam Policy Advisor, Land Rights

Luca is an Oxfam Land Rights Policy Advisor and currently works on the Post-2015 Agenda; land monitoring and indicators, particularly related to women’s and community land rights; and support to national strategies that promote just and equitable land governance.

He is based in The Hague, in The Netherlands, where he lives with his wife and his daughter. Before joining Oxfam, Luca was Global Policy Advisor at the Secretariat of the International Land Coalition, where he established and led a program to protect land and environmental rights defenders at risk. In addition, he coordinated various global policy initiatives, and contributed to advancing women’s land rights on the ground through multi-country programs.

Luca holds a MA in International Affairs from the University of Roma Tre, Italy, and a MSc in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London. You can find him on Twitter at @LucaMig.
